The Four Point Inspection, also known as the "insurance inspection", was created after Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in 1992.  This inspection is performed for insurance companies and is usually a requirement by the insurer for a new homeowner of an older home.  
 

The 4 Point Inspection includes reporting on only four of the home's key systems:

· Roof Inspection

· Electrical Inspection

· HVAC (Heat, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) Inspection
